Title: ... P39 - Peter KELLY, the 1986 Grand Final, memories by Terry Mullane, Quakers Hill NSW

Kelly just barreled past him and back to the battle - "get outta my friggin' way, this is a grand final!"

Kel was man of the match in the 1984 GF.

Apart from the punishing defence, he was also a useful offloader at times and had an effective understanding with Paul Langmack when they attacked on the blind side, drawing defence across.

I remember he was sin-binned for 10 in the 86 GF. When his 10 minutes was nearly up, he trotted down the pathway from the dressing rooms at the SCG toward the gate. The old official who was keeping time at the gate was signalling that 10 minutes had not yet expired and he would have to wait. Kelly just barreled past him and back to the battle - "get outta my friggin' way, this is a grand final!"

Hilarious..
