Living in the Manly area since 1961 as a kid, Bobby Fulton was a hero to all us youngsters.

Ive got vague memories of a Test match he played against England in the early seventies (I think) that
I saw on TV.

Bobby had just been tackled and was about to play the ball. Phil Lowe (who ended up at the Sea Eagles himself), was marking him and swung a punch that missed by miles. A real air swing. Fulton went
down as though he had been shot.

Poor Lowe got sent off and as he was leaving the field Fulton got up and heckled him as he was leaving the
ground.
