Title: ... p77 - Memories of Graham Eadie - by Dave Young, Woy Woy, AU

Graham Eadie was the `Billy Slater' of his time. His explosive line speed and ability to constantly beat the first 2 defenders was amazing not to mention being the safest defensive fullback as well. His hit on Steve Rogers in the 1978 Grand Final was a demonstration in timing and power. Poor Steve looked once too often for support and WHAMO! He was also the best in the game under the famous Peard Bomb.

Most fullbacks would shake in their boots but Eadie would not only beat 4 or 5 chasers to the ball but would burst 20m upfield on regular occasions. He retired from Manly way too soon, that's for sure.
My 3 son's all played junior footy with Graham Eadie's junior club, the Woy Woy Roosters. He is revered as the greatest Central Coast player of all time.
