Can't account for the last 50 years, but in the
last 30 I've been watching 2 players stand out.
Cliff Lyons and Steve Menzies.
I'd pick Menzies because in 96-97 he was reportedly
offered 600k per season by Parramatta and rejected
it for 350k at Manly. Then in 01 was offered a massive
contract by the Roosters and resigned with the Then
Northern Eagles.

Manly - Steve Menzies

Without a doubt Ken Arthurson.
Here is a man who played for Manly as a kid, ended
up with a career
ending injury and came within an inch of his life,
and then decided he was
going to be the an administrator for the club, and
what a great
administrator for not only manly but Rugby League.
He is the epitomy of what
Manly is and Love him or Hate him he is an absolute
Rugby League legend.
I doubt you would find a Manly fan or anyone else
for that matter who
would disagree

I'd like to nominate Graham Eadie. Eadie
played for Manly between 1971 and 1983. Started
off as a 17 year old. I'll never forget the way
he single-handedly held up the "wedge" in the 1976
Grand Final. Undoubtedly won the game for Manly
