Sonny Nickle played for GB, St Helens, Sheffield
Eagles and Bradford. He was well known for seeing red and laying out
opponents. The chant "Sonny's gonna get ya" would ring around Knowsley Road
(Saints' ground) is an opponent hit a Saints player - and Sonny would
not let us down.
Martin Offiah can probably vouch for the fact that Sonny didn't always
follow the rules.

This is what this site is about. To record the memories
and times we all had during the Biff Era. Why not share
a favorite moment with us all. I am not chasing a literary
classic, just tell it like it is - Your first trip to
a Grand Final, Challenge Cup. Memories from the bush
league. Everyones got a story. Lets Share them.
There's over 80 listed already.

Cheers
