My favorite Moment is When Hull beat a star studded Widnes side in
the 1991 Premiership Final. We had lead the league for about three
quarters of the season but fell away towards the end and finished 3rd.After
beating Saints and Leeds on the way to the final we had a mouth watering
task of beating a Widnes side that included Offiah,Davies and The Hulme
brothers.
When we got into the ground the atmosphere was electric, the Stretford
End was full of Hull fans and the sound of Old Faithful that day will
be one I will never forget. We just played fantastic rugby that day and
as Widnes where getting back into the game I will never forget Gary
Nolan with three men on him putting the ball down and winning us the
Premiership was just fantastic.
