I had the honour of working with this "quiet,
hardman" when he guested with Wakefield Trinity in the early 1990's.
Tough as teak, never gave a backward step.
His best stories come from his days "Down Under" when he played with
Canterbury and Penrith. I once heard a story (which is qualified in
Royce Simmons' autobiography)when "Louie" played with a broken thumb in a
play off game in 1989. Not only did he play, but before the game he
took off the plaster cast, and took out the pins (holding his thumb
together) with his drill ! Unfortunately, he broke his hand again .... but a
tough character !

Stories and Memories from the Punters.
This is what this site is about. To record the memories
and times we all had during the Biff Era. Why not share
a favorite moment with us all. I am not chasing a literary
classic, just tell it like it is - Your first trip to
a Grand Final, Challenge Cup. Memories from the bush
league. Everyones got a story. Lets Share them.
There's over 80 listed already.

Cheers
