WHERE
IS THE ROO ???
I
was lucky enough to be part of the 1990 RLW Supporters
Tour to England. One of the joys of the tour was watching
the antics of our "unofficial" Mascot. The Roo.
He was adopted by the Official Tourist and was present
at all pre game and the half time entertainment. It was
great and the Poms loved him too.
I would love to find out where he is and what he is up
to these days. Relive some memories.
Below is a quote from the Widnes League Forum page that
triggered my curiousity.
"I also remember Tommy Stains trying to run on
from the cow sheds to punch the Kangaroo mascot. Cracking
game aswell got Laurie Daleys autograph along with Mal
Meninga.
REMEMBER
THIS ????
Can anyone out there enlighten us with more info and details
about the Roo.. I'd like to get in touch with him.
Email Era if you
know any more.

league. Everyones got a story. Lets Share them.
There's over 80 listed already.
