My favorite Moment is: My beloved Western Suburbs Magpies........

It was 1979 and a season had ended, all my school friends said poor Wests, gone next year......lost players like Raudonikis, O'Grady, Boyd, Brown, Dorahy............. 3 of them to Manly (the enemy)another 3 to Newtown

I was told they had no chance, fast forward to a few rounds into 1980 season and off I went to Lidcombe oval, the game was vs Manly..........what happened next I will never forget, The mighty Magpies won 19-4, trys went by 3's and only one goal was kicked, Manly were kept tryless.

This was the finest Magpie moment for me........later that year we won a semi against the dragons and I remember Warren Boland jumping up and down when Gitaeu converted a Ribot try to make it 13-7.........

One match to go, one more win and they make the grand final........it wasn't to be the Roosters won 41-5........

However bar that...... 1980 was my greatest Magpie moment in my life........
