Blocker Roach was the popular but fiery front rower for Balmain and Australia.
Roach often fell foul of the Refs and on one occasion was suspended for patting Referee Eddie Wardn on the head after being sent off.
Blocker was at his "mad" best when he was facing the Poms and loved nothing more than when the engine room started to go into melt down mode
