Fulton had it all, and did it all. He was a matchwinner. A brilliant player, captain and coach for club and Country.
He is a rugby league "Immortal" and a member of the Australian Sporting Hall of Fame.

Artic cold conditions and an ice covered surface greeted the Aussies for the third test. Officials laid 18 tonnes of straw over the pitch in an effort to reduce the ice. Ground staff placed 44 gallon drums of hot coals on the surface in effort to thaw it out. All soccer matches and Race meetings had already been called off. Bob Fulton was quoted as saying it was without doubt the worst conditions he had ever played in.
