Norm Provan Player Profile
Sticks Provan holds and enviable record that may never be seriously challenged, let alone broken. Ten times a member of a winning first grade premiership team - four of them as Captain Coach. All during the Mighty Saints 11 year run.
Provan played in the Australian 2nd row with Kel O'Shea.
As coach of Saints, Provan is credited with making Billy Smith a great halfback after converting him from the centre. Provan went on to coach the Cronulla Sharks to the 78 Grand Final. (Bloody manly again)
