DESCRIPTION

Charlie Pawsey was a tough forward that played for 8 seasons with Leigh during the 50's. he represented his country 7 times.

It is rumoured that Mal Reilly rates Pawsey as the toughest forward he ever saw.

Charlie enjoyed nothing better than a brutal confrontation.

He captained the British Lions in the infamous abandoned game against NSW at the SCG in 1956.
