DESCRIPTION

Derek Rocky Turner was a tough wild forward in the Karalius mould. He first battled the Roos in 56 - 57. He was at his destructive best during the 1962 series in Australia.
He was sent off in the final test at the SCG when he was goaded by a seriously injured Dud Beattie who was incapacitated with a dislocated shoulder. Many thought Turner would set upon Beattie when he realized what had happend. (Memorable Matches).
