WALLY LEWIS

PLAYED FOR
CLUB/COUNTRY

Australia, Broncos, Gold Coast, Wynnum-Manly and Valleys

DESCRIPTION

King Wally, the Emporer of Lang Park, is the greatest Queensland player of them all and arguably the best Australian league player of all time. (Not my choice but he is up there).

The King came to represent State of Origin and in the toughest Rugby League Series ever to be, he lead his beloved Queensland from the front. From game one with Artie, Lewis played in all games up until 1987.

How many living footballers can boast that they have a statue ........

Who can forget Wally's famous dust up with Mark Geyer.
