From Quigs, I actually found these pics in my old Mums Photo Albums.

Below are five old pictures of the Sydney Sports Ground, now the Sydney football Stadium. The pics were taken in 1947 in a game between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the mighty Newtown Bluebags Rugby League clubs.

Souths won the game 19 - 7.

On one of the backs of one of the pics it has hand written 2nd game. I dont know if that indicates the 2nd ever game there or the 2nd game of the day. If anyone can help me out there then I'd love to hear from you.
