Title: ... p56 - Comments on Alex Murphy and others - by Steve Smethurst.

proud to see my fathers name still talked about.

Unfortunateley i was only young when he left, but left how he wanted no pain, no regrets, and happy.

I've read so much about frank foster but vince karalius, charlie pawsey, were definate hard men. i could reel off so many what i heard and asked questions about but it would take ages.

Murph though i heard was the ultimate professional, if your paid to win you win at all costs which as a professional you are.

I only wish there were as many characters in the game, we have the best sporting product in the world, we invented the oval ball, long live rugby league.

i just wish people would read the true history about it, if you get chance read "the forbidden game" by mike rylance.

It will open your eyes. x
